Congratulations to the Winners of the 2024 Bayhorse Project Photo Contest!
We are thrilled with the wonderful entries we received for our first ever photo contest. We will be using as many local and original photos as possible in our upcoming print ads and online posts. It was a tough job selecting six winners, but someone had to do it and here are our top picks!

"We bought the shed needing a third bedroom for guests. We added electric in th walls, glass insulation and inside sheathing. Once the wood stove was done, we could put up guests in our new cabin. Our first guest was here in January 2024 with outside temps in the single digits. The wood stove worked perfectly to keep the cabin warm."

2nd Place! - Handcrafted Wood Adirondack Chair
"We moved to our new property with two horses and no barn. We needed to do something fast. Bayhorse came highly recommended for service and quality and we were not disappointed! We found we could get a ready built 12' x 40' barn customized to our needs and delivered in one piece, ready to use. We chose to have two 12' x 12' stalls facing into the barn, one at each end. This left a 12' x 16' area in the center which could serve many functions: as stalls with drop-down windows, which are light and airy, as a run-in shed, as a grooming bay, for storage, for the farrier. It has worked perfectly. The build is high quality. It is snug in winter and cool in summer. It gets used every day. The horses love it and so do I!"

"I always looked at my backyard as dull no matter how much landscaping I did. One day I started looking at pergolas. Bayhorse was so helpful with the design and color. I was expecting the install to be awful but to my surprise it wasn't. The quality of the pergola was amazing. Every piece fit perfectly like we were building a Lego set. My backyard turned from dull to cozy. Never thought I would regret not doing this sooner. Completely love my pergola and recommend Bayhorse to everyone that comes over."

Three 4th Place Runners-Up! - Handcrafted Wood Mailbox
"Many years ago we'd bought a swing set at Bayhorse and had seen all of their garages and sheds. So when it came time to get a garage, we looked at getting some quotes from Bayhorse. We wanted a detached garage with a second floor that had ample headroom but also had to match the architectural style of our existing home, an 1800's Colonial. Bayhorse was able to customize the garage to our liking, matching our house's roofline as well as the clapboard siding (along with the color) and shepherding the project through the somewhat complicated permit approvals process, including a variance. Bayhorse also helped with a contractor to put in the foundation for the garage. In the end, finishing the interior ended up being more challenging than constructing the garage, which only took two days to put up. It all turned out great!"

“I finally have my workshop in the woods thanks to Bayhorse! I paid for expensive storage for my business for years before deciding I should have storage on my own property. I looked into many options and decided that a 24’ x 24’ storage shed and workshop was the answer. It was an absolute privilege to work with Gerry and his team at Bayhorse. Gerry is meticulous, dependable, fair and the nicest person you will ever work with. His entire crew is skilled beyond words and they clearly love what they do. They made assembling this massive structure look like child’s play, with precision and attention to detail that was so much fun to watch.
